The Enid Leard Charity Organization (ELCO) was founded to honor Enid Leard's enduring legacy of compassion and dedication to education. Rooted in her vision of a better future for every child, ELCO collects school supplies in New York and ships them to children in need in Jamaica, our family's home country.
Each year, her family and a community of supporters come together to host a "give back" day in Jamaica, offering backpacks and essential school supplies to empower the next generation. Through this work, ELCO aims to continue Enid’s dream of creating opportunities for children and spreading the joy of learning.

Mission Our mission at ELCO is to support and uplift children in Jamaica by
providing them with essential school supplies. Through our annual "give back" day,
we aim to foster a love of learning, strengthen community bonds, and carry
forward Enid Leard’s legacy of love, generosity, and hope for a better tomorrow.
